Renovations Begin at Future PaulB Hardware Mechanicsburg Store

Mechnicsburg, PA, December 15, 2020 . . . Officials celebrated the start of renovations to the new PaulB Hardware store in Mechanicsburg. Upper Allen Township officials, members of the West Shore Chamber of Commerce and representatives from Paul B. Zimmerman, Inc. Family of Companies, Alexander Building Construction Co., The Bill Gladstone Group part of NAI CIR and ByDesign Consultants, Inc. participated in a ceremonial ballast turning event to mark the project start.

When it opens in fall 2021, the 25,000 SF store located at 121 Gettysburg Pike will feature lawn and garden, paint, automotive, plumbing, agricultural and home hardware departments. The store will have a repair shop for tools, pumps, generators and outdoor power equipment and will employ approximately 30 people.

"We are humbled by the warm reception we have received and are looking forward to serving the community here in Upper Allen Township," said Jim Hostetter, President of PaulB LLC.

This will be the third location for PaulB Hardware. Other stores are in Belleville and Lititz. PaulB Hardware began in 1947 with a small repair shop in Lititz.

Alexander Building Construction Co., as part of The Butz Family of Companies, is the Construction Manager for the project. ByDesign Consultants, Inc. is the architect and The Bill Gladstone Group was the realtor.
